Ohio State-Linked Jet Left Manassas as College-Sports Markup Approached
The Big Ten had opposed the bill, and this KOSU-linked aircraft departed the D.C. area the day before markup.
N600CH departed Manassas on June 17 and reached Concord before a later leg back to Ohio State Airport. The route closed a two-day D.C.-area stay for a tracker-classified Ohio State-linked aircraft, with the Senate Commerce Committee scheduled to mark up the Protect College Sports Act the next morning. The Big Ten and SEC had opposed the draft, which would create national rules for athlete compensation, transfers, health protections, and media-rights pooling.
